God gives in abundance

Tuesday, April 1, 2014

When God gives, He gives in abundance!God loves us. You know that! God wants us to be full, complete. That is why He offers his life everyday for us. When god gives he gives in abundance. He gives himself as a free gift, a ransom for our sins. He is our payment for our debts. He is the source and summit of all Christian life. When god gives he gives in abundance. And what does god give us? Everything we need. But most of all his love, symbolized by the body and blood of him.Every human person is hungry for something. Others are hungry for food. They eat every minute. Some are hungry for affection, others for attention, others for fulfillment, for peace, abundance, health, love, forgiveness.according to psychologists, The greatest hunger of man is love. That is why we want to dream, achieve, be praised, help, serve, to find love in our life. For love is what life means. And this is what god offers each one of us in the Eucharist. He offers his life, his love. Jesus said, take this..take this..god offers us what we want, god offers us everything that we need in the Eucharist. Then why are we turning away from god, from the Eucharist? Maybe because we are too used to it, maybe because we don't see any change in our life. Maybe because we don't see any inspiration? Whatever our intention or disposition maybe, god still wants us to come and receive him. Others may not be so faithful to it but god has all the reserves left and ready for us when we come to him. Its just a matter of time, its just a matter of understanding, its just a matter of grace. Why does god feeds us everyday? Because he wants us to be strong, equipped, ready for whatever trials, difficulties of life. He wants us to be more and more like him, humble before the father, obedient to the father. And so this feast today calls for a celebration and thanksgiving for god has made available for us everyday. When we consume the body of Christ we know god becomes powerful for us. Yes, we may be weak even after receiving, we may again go back to our old ways, our old sins and mistakes, yet do not worry, the Eucharist, jesus Christ will be there to help us go through life. He will help us right our wrongs, he will strengthen us when we feel everything seems misfortunes, he will be there to comfort us and make us whole and at home at last.
Happy feast day of the HOLY BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST,!!!

Destiny

Sometimes THINGS happen almost repeatedly, one mistake today and tomorrow the same mistake you fall. And unbelievably they happen so fast but you can't track them anytime. Seriously! This is really sick! I always make the same mistake knowing that they are going the same route and end in the same feeling.  My heart once advised that the next time it happen it would be a different game, a different feeling of excitement but sadly I was wrong. I still missed the last spark to make the feeling into reality, making the ending open like a movie always creating another sequel to finally seize the whole picture and story. But, maybe there are things that just won’t work out for some people. Instead there are other things that are just meant for them. Well, I heard this from people, and they call it destiny. Crap! If this is what destiny for me, then holy crap! I just can’t figure out how to move next time. Why can’t I just make the perfect move now? I’m not comparing but some people can

The Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help (SOMPH) retreat house in Binoligan, Kidapawan City, an OMI-run center has become a haven of refuge for several (Locally Stranded Individuals) LSIs and (Persons Under Monitoring) PUMs under the care of city government of Kidapawan. Since last year, the shrine has been accepting individuals and families under quarantine during the event of the pandemic.        Through the joint program of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI) and Kidapawan City government, LSIs and PUMs are quarantined in the OMI retreat house, identified as one of the quarantine centers. In Kidapawan City, only a number of centers have been assigned for such delicate role of accepting person under quarantine.        The decision was made by Bp.
