Obedience of Joseph

Obedience of Joseph proves that god is truly with us. We just have to trust god in our life. We have to find confidence in a god who is always there to lead and guide us in life.
There was a story of a guy who went for a mountain trek. While he was climbing the mountain, there was full of fog that he can nearly see his path. Suddenly, he stepped on a wet rock and he slid towards the hill. Good for him, he was able to grab some grass. It was dark with fogs, so he can't see anything. He called for help, then after a couple of times, almost desperate, a cloud opened and a voice said to him, it is I, do not be afraid, release your hand from the grass Nd when you fall I will catch you. Then the man replied, is there anybody there?
Sometime we are just full of doubts whether we can get through with our problems, whether we can succeed in our life. Sometimes we are hopeless in our situations and relationships and life.
But we just have to follow The Lord. How? We'll he sends signs for us to follow. He will create words, provide gestures, people, angels, solutions, etc. he will speak to you through birds, drawings, painting, words, people, events. That's how magnificent god is. He will use all the means to communicate to us.
And we call this his message. So what is gods message for you today?
You might been asking god something to work or happen in your life. Have you seen and heard his message yet? If not then maybe something is missing. But I'm pretty sure it's not god, it's not his message that is missing but it's you who missed to recognize his voice in your life.
Do you know why there are so many things that could happen to us that do not or did not happen? Like for example, getting a new job, becoming successful, be ping happy, moving from heartaches, removing guilt. Why at times we are stuck with those.? Because we don't expect these things to happen to us. We don't believe that we can be better than what we were before. Because of that we are stuck to what we believe.
Do you know what he wants to tell you today? I think he tells us, do not be afraid. I am with you always. I am the Emmanuel. I am the god who is with you.
May we also be the voice of god to others who are in despair. Those who are losing the strength to believe in love, in life, and in god. He also invites us to be that Emmanuel for others.
And so as we anticipate the advent of The Lord, know that he is already with you today.
Receive The Lord today. Follow him with your heart and you will not lose path.

LSIs and PUMs found refuge in OMI Retreat House

The Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help (SOMPH) retreat house in Binoligan, Kidapawan City, an OMI-run center has become a haven of refuge for several (Locally Stranded Individuals) LSIs and (Persons Under Monitoring) PUMs under the care of city government of Kidapawan. Since last year, the shrine has been accepting individuals and families under quarantine during the event of the pandemic. Through the joint program of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI) and Kidapawan City government, LSIs and PUMs are quarantined in the OMI retreat house, identified as one of the quarantine centers. History The Notre Dame of Cagayan is located in a far distant island called Mapun, Tawi-Tawi. It is one of the Notre Dame schools founded by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate in the Sulu and Tawi-Tawi archipelago to respond to the literary education needs of the local people. Sometimes THINGS happen almost repeatedly, one mistake today and tomorrow the same mistake you fall. And unbelievably they happen so fast but you can't track them anytime. Seriously! This is really sick! I always make the same mistake knowing that they are going the same route and end in the same feeling. My heart once advised that the next time it happen it would be a different game, a different feeling of excitement but sadly I was wrong.
